What is fear?
Fear is a natural human emotion.
Fear can result in the loss of a human life, illnesses, faint spells, and a lot more of unexpected consquences.
So what exactly is this thing called "Fear"?
The truth is, young children have a better chance off from fear rather than adults.
Having not heard all the old folk tales or exposed to influence of the weaker mind, they themselves do not exactly know what 'fear' is.
If a child is raised without the ever statement of 'fear', they shall never be afraid.
So who actually influences one to be 'afraid'?
Without emotions... you actually aren't really human.
Created as we are, humans have unlimited capabilities from extraodinary thinking to ideas that stretch to the horizon and even Unbreakable bonds of relationships; friendships, family etc.
So basically, it's who we are as human beings.
Fear is actually a thought of human imagination. A figment or idea that causes an instantaneous reaction in the brain. Children after often raised into adulthood with facts on "ghosts", "criminals", "murderers" and "monsters" embedded into their minds.
Who caused these thoughts to be taught to children?
Who taught children all these?
Hehe. That is a very interesting question . The truth is, grandparents or older relatives influence children. As they believe that it 'prepares them for the world' or informs them about 'all the dangers out there'.
However in a sense, they are wrong. By telling a child about all 'these facts of life' , it instills a larger fear. A fear to actually journey further into the depths of life. To seek things or stories that are different from what their used too. In other words, foreign culture or ideas sitting somewhere out there in the future in wait for us.
Thats it!
My favourite quote: Fear is in the eye of the beholder.
-from Thailand. a long, long time ago. =)
-imprinted on my favourite t-shirt that can no long fit me.
